If you love Maltesers (and honestly, who doesn’t?), then these little cheesecake cups are going to be your new obsession. They’ve got a buttery malted milk biscuit base, a light and creamy cheesecake filling mixed with Maltesers spread, and the all-important finishing touchβ€”extra Maltesers on top.

The best part? They’re no-bake, super easy to throw together, and look way fancier than the effort they take. Perfect for parties, BBQs, or even when you just want to treat yourself to something sweet without heating up the oven.

Top TipsFor Perfect Dessert Cups

  • Chill time is everything – Let them set for at least 3 hours, or overnight if you can resist.
  • Pipe it in – Using a piping bag makes the filling neat and even (plus, it looks pro).
  • Give them a tap – Tap the cups on the counter to smooth out any air bubbles.
  • Crisp toppings – Add the Maltesers just before serving so they stay crunchy.

Instructions

  1. Start with the base – Crush up the malted milk biscuits until they’re nice and fine (a food processor makes this super quick, but a rolling pin works just as well). Stir through the melted butter until everything’s coated.
  2. Fill your cups – Spoon about 3 teaspoons of the biscuit mix into each dessert cup (you should get around 16). Use the bottom of another cup to gently press the crumbs down into a firm base.
  3. Make the cheesecake filling – In a bowl, mix together the cream cheese, Maltesers spread, and icing sugar until smooth and creamy. Pour in the double cream and continue to whisk until it’s softly holding its shape.
  4. Add the filling – Pipe the cheesecake mixture into your cups. Give each cup a gentle tap on the counter to smooth it out and get rid of any little air bubbles.
  5. Time to decorate – Warm the Maltesers spread slightly so it’s runny enough to drizzle. Pour a little over each cheesecake and top with a few Maltesers.
  6. Chill and enjoy – Pop the cups into the fridge for at least 3 hours (or overnight). Once they’re set, they’re ready to enjoy!

Frequently Asked Questions

Expand All:

Can I make these ahead of time?

Yep! Make them the night before and keep in the fridge. Just add the Maltesers on top before serving so they don’t go soft.

How long do they last?

About 3 days in the fridge

Can I freeze them?

Yes, just leave off the toppings and freeze for up to a month. Defrost overnight in the fridge and decorate before serving. Just make sure they are stored correctly.

What if I can’t find Maltesers spread?

You can use any chocolate spread you like, but the Maltesers spread gives that real malty flavour.
